Adult Race League

2021 Timber Ridge Adult Race League

Timber Ridge’s Adult Race League (ARL) is team-based, NASTAR-style giant slalom racing with handicapped scoring. With a fun, relaxed atmosphere, the league has been a Thursday Night tradition at Timber Ridge for 30+ years. We are always looking for new racers to join a team — so whether you are new to racing or new to the area, come on out and join the fun!

Cost for 2021 racing is $35 per racer. Payments must be made online, or at the Ski School desk.

The first night of racing will be Thursday, January 14th (weather permitting). Bib/race numbers will be available on the first night. Race League will be an entirely outdoor event this year. All outdoor aspects of racing will be essentially unchanged, with the exception that a face covering is required for all participants, at all times

All participants must complete and submit an electronic registration & release form. YOUR ONLINE REGISTRATION MUST BE COMPLETED BY WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 13th.  There will be no registration the night of the first race.  We ask that payment be made prior to Thursday, January 14th, if not you can pay at the Ski School desk the night of the first race to receive your bib/race number.

To complete ARL registration, you’ll need to complete both steps below.

  1. Registration & Liability Waiver

  2. NASTAR registration & Enter a Race

We will not be doing door prizes this year. Official results will be posted within 24 hours after the race. Unofficial results will be posted online as soon as possible after the race. A copy of the official results will be emailed upon request, but no paper copies will be distributed. We will be using Live timing this year so you can see real time results as they happen on any smart device at

Running Order
To keep numbers at the top of the hill as small as possible we will have the course set by 6:30pm. Followed by a 20 minute inspection period. The race will start at 7:00pm. A running order for each week 1ST and 2nd run will be posted at and on the bottom race shack. You will be running in two team blocks.

Teams will be issued a time slot for 1st run and 2nd run. These time slots will be based on 7 min blocks. There will be a holding area for the next teams up in the running order. When it is your teams’ time to race, you will move up to the start house. With one team in red and the other in blue. When the last members of the teams in the start have left the start house, the on deck teams will move up and begin their runs. The next teams up will move into the holding area. All other teams will keep out of this area until it is their turn to run.
