Snowshoe Bar

Snowshoe Bar

The Snowshoe is the gathering place at Timber Ridge, where friends come year after year to celebrate the Snow and toast each other with their favorite beverages. Huge windows offer a doorway to the slopes. A fireplace centers one wall with vintage skis as a main decoration. Also featured on the walls of the Snowshoe are photos of the evolution of the ski area from the naturally wooded hills of West Michigan, along with cherished photos of days gone by. Actually the Snowshoe itself is part of the original terminal for the Shelbyville Train Station, transplanted to Gobles and enlarged many times over.

Today the Showshoe is a venue for Music, Racers and Families. The music offerings are most varied: From One-Man bands to Karaoke and Full 4 or 5 piece groups. The genre range is from Blues and Rock to classic hits.

On specific days local ski racers congregate in the Snowshoe to prepare for their runs on the Oak slope. On weekend mornings a Race the Gates course is set for anyone to check their time against the pace-setter.

At designated times families likewise join together in the Snowshoe to share a meal and stories of the day’s Snow adventures. Timber Ridge is proud of their many generations of skiing families, who celebrate winter together here at the Ridge!

The Snowshoe is also available for corporate gatherings during some weekdays with a buffet lunch provided to supplement skiing, snowboarding or snow tubing.

Enjoy your day of skiing, than settle into the Snowshoe and make new ski friends.
